trip 1 Canyon creek MT

Tomorrow I am going to check out the little town of Canyon creek MT. Canyon Creek is a small little farming town less than 20 miles north west of Helena. on MT 279. I will update on my return with some stats

SIDE TRACK

This is for those fun little side tracks that make traveling Montana fun. After all it is more about the way to a destination the the destination itself so lets plan a road trip in Montana .

Using Helena as our starting point.

leaving Helena on Hwy 12 west over McDonald pass We will stay on Hwy 12 till the town of Avon. There we will go North on Hwy 141. We will stay on this until it meets up with HWY 200. Then we go left on Hwy 200 until we meet up with HWY 83 we take that to the right (side note. There is a gas station there that has a statue of a cow ) HWY 83 is also known as the Swan road. This is a good day trip to Columbia falls and is right at 200 miles.
